Tapeze Trach Tape Selling Points:
The trach site and patient remain clean from secretions with Tapeze Trach Tape. Similar products that are currently used become saturated with secretions that can cause bacteria to patients, causing secondary infections – every medical facility’s nightmare. The Tapeze Trach Tape is antimicrobial and antibacterial for these reasons. All materials for the Tapeze Trach Tape are medical grade, including the pressure sensitive adhesive. The Tapeze Trach Tape is designed to release cleanly from tubing.
A pulmonologist and certified respiratory therapist believe Tapeze Trach Tape offers protection from the spreading of unnecessary air contaminants with the solid and safe connection of the device.
Tapeze Trach Tape saves valuable staff time. Most counterparts require two people to change products or accessories. The Tapeze Trach Tape can be applied and changed by one person. It provides easy and quick removal tabs for emergency bronchoscopy.
Tapeze Trach Tape can be expanded for other medical applications - IV ties and catheter ties, including additional airway and cardio-thoracic applications.
Tapeze Trach Tape is Latex-free.
Tapeze Trach Tape is user friendly and economical.
Tapeze Trach Tape, an FDA Class I medical device, has undergone extensive testing, including:
Thorough biocompatibility testing for the application, including in-vitro cytotoxicity and skin irritation testing. Rigorous simulated use and stress testing conducted by a Certified Respiratory Therapist, including cough and sneeze simulations.
Electrical ventilator testing settings of 20 to 60 cm of H2O were used with closed suction. All settings successfully held for eight consecutive hours. The settings were utilized to confirm strength and resiliency of the medical adhesive and liner.
Device Exempt and FDA Database Registration.
Maintenance Fee is current. (January 22, 2020).
Patent No. 8235970. Application No. 12321695
The unique configuration of Tapeze Trach Tape is a patented design which is poised for quick market entry. The product is manufactured in Minnesota. Additional reference letters and testing from medical providers available to Buyer.
Tracheostomy Statistics
The respiratory market for trached and ventilated patients is unique. The Global Ventilator Market is expected to exceed more than US $1.29 Billion by 2023 at a CAGR of 8.0% in the given forecast period. (Statistics of December, 2018).
With tracheotomy statistics difficult to confirm, it appears there may be as many as 6.5 million people living with tracheostomies in the U.S. Experts believe this number will increase significantly as 88.5 million baby boomers will reach 65 years of age by 2050. Some estimates indicate as many as half, or about 44 million patients, will face respiratory problems resulting in many needing tracheotomies.
